Mayank Khanduja, Partner, Bessemer Venture Partners
Bessemer Venture Partners has appointed Mayank Khanduja as a Partner in its India practice. He will focus on early-stage investments, working with founders from the first institutional round.
Mayank’s previous assignments include Elevation Capital and McKinsey, and he brings 15 years of venture investment experience, spanning consumer technology, gaming, healthcare, AI, and deeptech.
He has supported companies including ShareChat, NoBroker, PlaySimple Games, Jeh Aerospace, MOC Cancer Care, Loop Health, Atlys, Seekho, General Autonomy and PierSight.
Commenting on the appointment, Vishal Gupta, Partner at Bessemer, said “We are delighted to welcome Mayank to the Bessemer family.
He has spent 15 years working with early-stage founders and helping them build long-lasting companies. Our depth in consumer technology and AI is strengthening our early stage practice in India at the right time.
Mayank holds an MBA from IIM-Calcutta along with an engineering degree from IP University.

Bessemer has been active in India for the past two decades. The company’s legacy investments include Mediassist, Perfios, Swiggy, and Urban Company, among others.
Some of the more recent partnerships are with Sarvam, Boldfit, Vetic, Easebuzz, Inrisk, Pluro and others. Bessemer announced its second India fund with a capital of $350 million in March 2025, with a focus on AI, fintech, enterprise-tech, healthcare, consumer, and cyber security.
The company also recently announced a $5.75 billion global capital raise to support its founders from Seed through growth in the AI era.
