Rudi launches gluten-free protein bread

BOULDER, COLO. — Rudi’s Bakery launches gluten-free Daily Power Protein Bread.

Described as a “nutrient-dense line of breads to help consumers meet their daily nutritional goals without sacrificing taste or texture,” the new breads contain 10 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber per serving, two key nutrients that are typically missing from gluten-free breads, according to Rudi. There are two types of bread: white and sourdough.

“Gluten-free consumers always have to compromise on taste and nutrition with bread,” says Jane Miller, executive director of Rudi’s. “We are committed to developing products that deliver protein and fiber in delicious, soft slices. We are delivering products that help consumers enjoy more possibilities without compromise.”

Rudi’s gluten-free Daily Power Protein Bread is available in 18-oz loaves and is now available in the United States at Sprouts Farmers Market stores before expanding to Kroger in November.
