Ford is recalling more than 11,000 pickup trucks because of a rearview camera defect that can obstruct the driver’s visibility when backing up.
About 11,405 2026 Ford Rangers equipped with a 10.1-inch center stack screen are affected by the recall, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The problem could increase the risk of a crash, NHTSA said in the announcement.

“The screen may lose power and fail to display the rearview camera image,” NHTSA said in a recall notice.
“The rearview camera image that is not displayed reduces the driver’s view of the rear of the vehicle, increasing the risk of an accident,” the notice said.
