Real Filming Locations for “Twilight” and “Halloweentown”

It’s a town of less than 20,000 people, but Hollywood loves it.

Located about 45 minutes from Portland by car, the riverside town of St. Helens, Oregon, was the setting for the 1998 Disney classic “Halloweentown” and was the Washington port town of Port Angeles in the 2008 movie “Twilight.”

Tourists visit throughout the year, but every fall St. Helens put on Spirit of the “Halloweentown” Festival.which runs on selected days from the end of September to November 1 to revive this wonderful film. Special guests include actors Judith Hoag and J. Paul Zimmerman, mother and son in the film.

St. Helens has a host of “Twilight” theme shops around the city, including Sweet Starling Co. and Twilight Experience, where fans can collect memories and relive the hit saga.

There are also several movie locations for guests, including the famous restaurant scene in “Twilight” and Bella Swan’s house.

Here are some sights you can see in and around St Helens from both films.

The movie’s hallway rescue scene was shot in downtown St. Louis. Helen.

Kristi Etzel, travel content creator, visited St. Helens this month to see the various filming locations: “I’m very excited that they have accepted the Twilight movie for those of us who were obsessed with the movie in high school so that we can open it as an adult,” she told Business Insider.

Bella and Edward are known to eat at restaurants in town.

The Victorian-looking building was once a real restaurant. It is a mixed residential building with commercial space on the first floor and living space above.
