Comedian Jimmy Kimmel mocked President Donald Trump later today in Oslo ahead of the announcement of the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, the award the president has long coveted, saying he would “cry like a newborn baby.”
during his Thursday night monologue. Jimmy Kimmel Live! Kimmel opened the show by saying, “We come to you from Hollywood, the most smug city in the world.”
“We give ourselves awards almost year-round here,” he added. “But no award, not the Academy Award, not the Peabody Award, not even the coveted People’s Choice Awards, can compare to what will be handed out tomorrow in Oslo.”
He turned his attention to the Nobel Peace Prize, which he said would be awarded “in a few hours.”
“That means that during that magical time of year, our President, Donald J.D. Trump, will cry like a newborn baby even though he doesn’t care about the Nobel Prize,” Kimmel said.
