Stand-up comedians and regular goofballs Atsuko Okatsuka and Chris Fleming join comics editor Emma Allen for a lively discussion that may or may not end with Okatsuka’s viral “drop challenge.” Okazuka and Fleming were known for their signature hairstyles: Okazuka for his bowl cut and Fleming for his cascading curls (which were tragically recently chopped off for the role). Fleming, a self-proclaimed “show pig” who rose to prominence on YouTube as a stay-at-home mom named Gayle, most recently starred in the first season of Widow’s Cove and this year released the Emmy-nominated stand-up special “Chris Fleming: Live at the Palace.” Okazuka’s second special, “The Father,” premiered last year and won a Webby Award for Best Stand-Up Comedy. Comedians join the magazine’s humor editors at the 27th Annual New Yorker Festival.
