Cognizant Activate will leverage Cognizant ecosystem partnerships to accelerate time-to-value for clients.
Cognizant on Monday announced the launch of Cognizant Activate, a new business unit designed to help growing companies use AI and accelerate transformation.
High-growth emerging companies face many of the same pressures as large companies, including legacy technology, rising cybersecurity risks and the need to use AI ahead of their competitors, but they need solutions that are faster to deploy and the right size for their size, the company said in a statement. “Cognizant Activate is expected to deliver a platform-aligned, preconfigured solution kit that includes data and AI, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, cloud modernization and managed services,” added the IT major.
The business unit will operate with a vertically integrated team and one engagement lead responsible from the first conversation through delivery.
It will be launched with an initial focus on the financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and retail / CPG sectors, where Cognizant has deep domain expertise. Cognizant Activate will also leverage Cognizant ecosystem partnerships to accelerate time-to-value for clients.
“Cognizant Activate brings the same AI Builder capabilities that have helped transform some of the world’s largest companies into growing companies, right-sized for speed and scale. This is how our clients enable growth with AI,” said Ravi Kumar S, Chief Executive Officer of Cognizant.
“High-growth emerging companies want enterprise-class capabilities without the complexity and enterprise-level costs,” said Mohammad Haque, Cognizant’s Head of Global Intelligent Enterprise Platform and Large Offerings. “Cognizant Activate gives you access to a global delivery network, platform certifications and decades of industry expertise, delivered through a model built specifically for speed and ambition.”
