Former White House Press Secretary Carolyn Leavitt Joins Fox News as Contributor

Former White House press secretary Carolyn Leavitt will join Fox News as an on-air contributor, the website announced Monday.

Levitt, 29, stepped down in August after serving as President Trump’s chief spokesman and is scheduled to start at the cable network on Nov. 1.

She is expected to appear on Fox News and opinion shows, The New York Times reported.

Leavitt left Washington after the birth of her second child and now lives with her family in New Hampshire, the Times reported.

She has said she wants to spend more time with her children while remaining an outspoken supporter of Trump and the Republican Party.

Levitt becomes the second former Trump press secretary to move to Fox News, following Kayleigh McEnany.

Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott told The Times that Levitt’s White House and campaign experience gave her a unique perspective on the current political landscape.
