Florida attorney, 70, arrested for allegedly threatening to shoot ICE agent

Florida attorney Lisa White was arrested on suspicion of threatening to shoot an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent and faces a trial on November 16, 2026.

Mr. Bai is 70 years old.

On Wednesday, WLOX reported that White came to the attention of the Department of Homeland Security when he entered a Mississippi store in late September to purchase a gun and asked questions about the effectiveness of body armor.

A gun store employee claimed White “said the ICE agent was going crazy and crazy and that she needed a gun because she was a protester and activist.”

She began asking questions about body armor, and the employee talked with her to try to determine her true intentions. White then allegedly said she believed if the agents were wearing body armor, she would have to shoot them in the head, shoulder or leg.

The employee told White that if she tried to do what she described, she might find herself held at gunpoint, to which she allegedly responded: “If I have to die, I have to die.”

The New Orleans Hood Wire noted that Homeland Security Investigators visited the gun store and interviewed witnesses before arresting White.
