Former White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt’s next job is Fox News contributor

Former White House press secretary Carolyn Leavitt has found her next chapter: She’s heading to Fox News.

The network said Monday that Levitt will serve as an on-air contributor starting Nov. 1.

“Caroline’s first-hand experience in the White House and on presidential campaigns gives her a clear understanding of today’s political landscape,” said Suzanne Scott, the network’s CEO.

Levitt said in the same statement that she looked forward to “bringing the unique perspective of my experience as White House press secretary, and the same energy and candor that has characterized my tenure, to millions of viewers across Fox’s multiple platforms.”

At 29, Levitt is the youngest person to hold the position of press secretary. When she left in late August, President Donald Trump described her as “one of his most trusted aides.”

Levitt is not the first White House press secretary to join Fox. Kayleigh McEnany joined the network in 2021 and remains with the network.

Trump has also hired several Fox News personalities into key positions in his administration, chief among them Defense Secretary Pete Hegers.
