Home Depot’s limited-edition holiday sweaters were a hit upon release, selling out within minutes. If you missed your chance to get one, you’ll get another: The retailer will restock the sweater on October 15 at 11 a.m. ET while supplies last. Considering how fast it went the first time around, you’ll want to act fast – we don’t know if it’ll be back in stock again. Here’s a closer look at this tool belt-meets-ugly sweater (even though it’s totally stylish).
Where can I buy holiday sweaters from Home Depot?
Home Depot’s festive sweater is crafted from cheerful orange-green knit and features the retailer’s signature logo on the chest. The most eye-catching detail is the front pockets, which are modeled after the aprons worn by the retailer’s employees and never leave empty. Tucked inside are a Husky 6-in-1 screwdriver, a 25-foot tape measure, 8-inch slip joint pliers, an 850-lumen rechargeable LED headlight, a DeWalt 9-inch torpedo level, a pack of Command clear outdoor light clips, and a mechanical pencil with replacement lead.
“A faux apron at the hem of a sweater is both practical and cute,” says Shalwah Evans, senior editor at NBC Selected. “If you’re hanging lights or trimming trees, the apron pockets are great for storing tools and other things you need. Outside of vacation, I find it very handy for cleaning gutters, hanging things around the house, or traveling – this sweater will keep you warm during the flight, and the pockets are great for storing your phone, snacks, headphones, passport, etc.”
In addition to the tools, you’ll also receive a $50 mint-flavored Home Depot gift card with the sweater. All told, the bundle costs $29.99 but includes over $200 worth of stuff — making it arguably one of the best deals of the season. It can only be purchased online, not in stores, and only one per customer is available.
