Joey Hadden is a travel reporter and photojournalist at Business Insider based in NYC. They cover modes of transportation, alternative lifestyles, and luxury travel. Many of Joey’s stories are visual features that give the reader a front seat to his personal experiences at home and around the world.Joey graduated from the University of St. Edward in May 2019 with a BA in Photocommunications. Since joining Business Insider in 2019, Joey has traveled by train in seven countries, including a 53-hour overnight ride. They are ridden on many railroads, including Amtrak, Via Rail, Nightjet, and the iconic 21st century Orient Express, among others. During his travels, he slept in countless accommodations – five-star hotels, quaint cottages, and private train cabins, to name a few.While traveling in North America, Joey took a reading in the richest enclave of the continent where billionaires hide away, from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to Medina, Washington. When he’s not shooting trains, notes, or pictures, Joey spends his time singing and playing drums for the indie-rock band Blanket Approval.
