Staff at the upscale Soho Farmhouse in the UK have been asked to sign nondisclosure agreements so they won’t leak intel about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, multiple sources told Page Six.
“All staff at Soho House are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement specifically for Harry and Meghan,” an insider told Us. Another source confirmed the move at the farmhouse, which offers horse riding, traditional Sunday roast dinners, has a cinema and has become the Sussexes’ “home away from home.”
The Cotswolds outpost of the members-only club is a favorite spot for the couple and is close to where they will make their home after moving back to England.
Soho House already has a strict policy prohibiting members and their guests from identifying visitors and taking photos.
Another source made it clear that Harry and Markle were not the ones insisting on the confidentiality agreement.
We have contacted Soho House and Sussex representatives for comment.
According to Page Six, Harry, 42, and Markle, 45, currently live in a property near the estate of British hedge fund billionaire Ian Wace, with their children Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5.
We reported that Markle was spotted having coffee with a mum in a farmhouse just days after returning to the UK. She also regularly participates in Pilates and health classes at the club’s Health Barn.
Markle and Harry are close to Soho House; they met on a secret date at a Toronto club while the former actress was filming Suits.
Markus Anderson, chief executive of Soho House, is also Markle’s lifelong confidant.
Anderson helped arrange Markle’s ultra-low-key, spa-themed bachelorette party at the farmhouse in early March 2018 and helped arrange intimate dates at various outposts.
As we report, the Sussexes’ move has left fellow Brits and celebrities baffled.
They plan to stay for at least one academic year and then possibly travel to Canada or even Australia.
This week, Harry told GQ he was excited to be back as he opened up old wounds by talking about family rifts, adding, “It’s been great to stay close to friends, family, friends, friends and their kids, to be able to have endless play dates and really help our kids settle in.”
We told how the couple had considered moving over the past few years, but only made the final decision weeks before packing up their Montecito, Calif., home, which Harry confirmed, saying: “For us, when certain stars aligned and it became clear that this should or might end up being the case, then we were leaning into that.”
“I think having been here for six years and only being able to come back briefly to the UK to really have my whole family there, where I grew up, I hope to be able to show my children where I grew up and have them have in some way the experiences that I had – good and not necessarily bad – provides real, correct, serious thinking about, ‘This is an opportunity, let’s do it now,’ and he does it now,” he said.
