A Texas man was arrested after he intentionally crashed his vehicle into the front door of a Kroger grocery store because he needed to use the restroom, according to police.
The unidentified man rammed his vehicle into the store as it was closing on Sunday night, allegedly feeling upset that the doors were locked.
According to police, the incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday in Rosenberg, Texas.
The incident reportedly caused extensive damage to the store.
Footage released by police showed vehicles parked inside the store and glass shattered inside and outside the building door.
The metal door frame also sustained significant damage.
“On Sunday, September 27, at approximately 0428 hours, a known male intentionally accelerated into Kroger and caused significant damage to the pharmacy entrance,” Rosenberg police wrote on Facebook.
“I guess when you have to go, you have to go, but we strongly encourage you to find a store that is open… to do your business,” the department added.
The suspect was described only as a 60-year-old man.
Police told FOX 26 the man was arrested on a criminal mischief charge.
