Young Brewers fans dress up in hilarious Halloween costumes to prank Dodgers after NLCS sweep

The Los Angeles Dodgers were beaten, battered and embarrassed by the Milwaukee Brewers in the National League Championship Series. Now, even Wisconsin schoolboys are trying to attack the defending champions.

Less than 24 hours after the Brewers swept the two-time defending World Series champions in a stunning four-game sweep, a young Milwaukee fan showed up to his school’s Halloween party Friday dressed as a battered Dodgers player.

Dressed in a Dodgers jersey, baseball pants and fake blood, the youngster delivers the punchline with a comedic timing that would make professional stand-up comedians jealous.

“Oh, I got beat by the Brewers,” the boy declared in a hilarious video posted on Instagram by his mother, Alexa Dobry.

The Internet is naturally also very popular.

“Why do they have their Halloween party two weeks before Halloween?” one Reddit user wondered.

“Maybe this is a postponed party from last year,” replied another, with a brilliant jab at the Dodgers’ multibillion-dollar salary deferrals and the fact that the Brewers were swept by Los Angeles in the NL Bowl last year.

The Brewers defeated the Dodgers, whose starting rotation included two-time AL Cy Young Award winner Tarik Skubal, 2025 World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto, two-time NL Cy Young Award winner Blake Snell and All-Star Tyler Glasnow, but somehow couldn’t win a game against Milwaukee despite holding the lead in all four games.

This marked the Dodgers’ first NLCS sweep in franchise history, a particularly brutal comeback after Los Angeles swept Milwaukee in the same round last October. Apparently baseball has a funny way of settling accounts.

The Brewers won an MLB-best 103 games in the regular season and are headed to their first World Series since 1982, while the Dodgers headed home wondering how a team with a superstar couldn’t muster a win in the LCS.
