- Miley Cyrus changed the lyrics to her hit song “Flowers” after her sold-out performance at the Hollywood Bowl.
- In October, she played two nights at the venue, her first full solo concert in four years.
- Some fans said “Flowers”, which was released in early 2023, was a diss song towards her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.
Miley Cyrus changed the lyrics to an integral part of her hit song “Flowers” after two sold-out nights at the Hollywood Bowl in October.
Before the chorus, she improvised about selling out the iconic venue: “Started crying, but then I remembered I sold out the Hollywood Bowl!”
In 2024, she added similar lyrics to “Flowers,” which she sang after winning her first Grammy.
Now, the impromptu song appears to be Cyrus’ way of celebrating her win, and since its release in 2023, fans have suggested the song was written against her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. The two got married in 2018 and divorced a year later.
A representative for Hemsworth did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Here are the Easter eggs you might have missed in “Flowers.”
