Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper is now a mother.
Cooper, 32, announced the birth of her first child, a boy, on Instagram on Tuesday. The Unwell founder and her husband, Matt Kaplan, 42, announced in May that they were expecting. The baby’s due date is unknown.

On Thursday, Cooper posted a slideshow of her pregnancy photos.
“It’s been the most transformative 9 months of my life,” she wrote in the caption.
Cooper revealed in an Instagram post in July that she had been diagnosed with gestational diabetes, which she described as “when placental hormones cause insulin resistance, which is when your pancreas doesn’t produce enough insulin to keep your blood sugar normal.”
Cooper said she initially took her diagnosis harshly, saying it made her feel “very isolated.” But ultimately, she said, she just wants her baby to be healthy.
“I think this diagnosis is very upsetting because you’re already going through so much emotionally during pregnancy — and I was lucky enough to have a lot of incredible things happen during my pregnancy — but it’s also a lot,” she said.
According to the American Diabetes Association, gestational diabetes affects up to 9 percent of pregnancies.
Hollywood producer Kaplan married Cooper in April 2024. The couple co-founded Unwell Network, a subsidiary of media company Trending.
The baby’s name has not yet been revealed. One user joked in the comments: “Call him baby.”
