“Captain America: Civil War” is essentially an “Avengers” movie, with Captain America teaming up with his friends Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Ant-Man (Paul Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) joins forces to save his friend Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Olsen) from being convicted of the United Nations bombing.
In order to save his friends, Captain America faces off against Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Vision (Paul Bettany) and War Machine (Don Cheadle).
Of course, the film is also famous for introducing Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa (aka Black Panther) and Tom Holland as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s version of Peter Parker (aka Spider-Man).
Salon’s Matthew Rozsa wrote: “This is one of the best movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, balancing riveting action scenes and witty dialogue with smart character studies and moral debates.”
