GEA is investing $25 million to expand its Wisconsin campus

JANESVILLE, WI. – GEA invested approximately $25 million in the expansion of the Janesville campus.

Once completed, the new facility will produce solutions from GEA’s Nutrient Crop Engineering portfolio, with drying technology available on site.

Plans call for adding approximately 70,000 square feet of office, manufacturing, research and industrial space next to the company’s existing facilities.

The newest facility is expected to be completed in early 2028, the company said.

“Food and beverage manufacturers in North America are looking for partners who can combine process expertise, practical testing and reliable project execution close to the market,” said Klaus Stojentin, executive director of the Nutrition Engineering Division and member of the executive board at GEA. “Expanding the Janesville campus is an immediate response. It builds real capabilities in areas that are very important to our customers and GEA.”

GEA opened its second global Center of Excellence in Janesville last year and will open in May 2024 on the campus for production, repair, logistics and training facilities.
