Masked intruders shoot Toronto CEO and family in multi-million dollar home invasion

A Canadian real estate CEO and his family were attacked by three masked intruders at their multimillion-dollar home in Toronto this week, leaving both with “life-changing injuries,” according to police and reports.

David Morton, CEO of the MAC Group, and his two daughters were shot in the attack, police said, and his wife, Doriana Zohil-Morton, was attacked with a hammer.

“A struggle ensued during this altercation where the suspects fired several shots and one victim was struck with a hammer,” Insp. Kristy Smith spoke at a press conference on Friday.
