On Thursday’s episode of MS NOW’s “The Last Word,” Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) said the Trump administration is “abusive to immigrants” and that Elon Musk is “an immigrant who came in and never really absorbed the true values of our country… He has no real interest in our country’s values, equal protection and due process and the First Amendment and representative government.”
Raskin said, “Lawrence, I came up with this idea of being banned, that he was part of the Trump regime that condemned immigrants, vilified immigrants, and so on. Well, he was an immigrant, he was an immigrant who came in and never really absorbed the true values of our country. The reason they redesigned the entire asylum system around him was because they wanted Afrikaners, who are basically unrepentant racists. “They are basically our country. This is clearly inspired by Elon Musk, who has no real interest in our country’s values, equal protection and due process, and the First Amendment and representative government. “
He continued, “These people, they want to go to Mars — I’m starting to think he was born on Mars — but they want to build a new civilization somewhere else.”
