Secretary of State Marco Rubio meets with Dominican Republic Foreign Minister Victor Bissono Haza in Washington today to promote a strong U.S.–Dominican Republic Partnership. The two discussed deepening security cooperation to combat the cartels and narco-terrorist groups that threaten our hemisphere. They also discussed continued cooperation under the leadership of the United States–The Dominican Republic Critical Minerals Framework promotes concrete investments in the mining industry.
