SALEM, OR. – Trustwell has introduced Playbook, an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered platform in the company’s FoodLogiQ Compliance program to help food safety and quality teams plan and manage compliance documentation faster.
“The food safety team carries a huge responsibility, and much of the documentation work is still starting with a blank page,” said Katy Jones, chief executive officer of Trustwell. “With Playbook, we’re using AI in a practical, purpose-built way: not to replace expertise, but to help teams move faster, ask better questions, and create stronger documentation in their FoodLogiQ Compliance workflows.”
Playbook brings AI-guided document creation to FoodLogiQ Compliance to help teams move from fragmented documentation processes to custom workflows for more structured food safety, according to Trustwell. With Playbook, users can create first drafts, build documents based on facility profiles, products, schemes, and applicable requirements, and use the audit readiness view to identify required and missing documentation.
“Food safety documentation must reflect the reality of each operation,” said Todd Dolinsky, head of product for Trustwell. “Requirements can vary by facility, product, scheme and region, and teams need practical, audit-ready documentation. Playbooks help create a stronger starting point while keeping food safety professionals in control of the final output.
