FRANCIS, WI. – Wixon, Inc. has completed a $25.6 million expansion of Wixon West, one of three blended and flavor production facilities in the Milwaukee area.
After starting construction in the fall of 2025, the project has tripled its operating footprint and created 110 new jobs. Wixon originally operated a portion of the Milwaukee property, but has now acquired the remainder and upgraded its manufacturing operations to support customer needs and continue to grow. Wixon said the facility is now more than 350,000 square feet and has five packaging lines, including a new high-speed line, a segregated blending suite, quality and analytical resources, and expanded distribution and warehousing capabilities. The facility still has room for future expansion, the company said.
“The expansion strengthens our ability to meet the evolving needs of our customers,” said Patrick McGarry, Wixon’s chief operating officer. “With additional manufacturing capacity and enhanced infrastructure, we are better equipped to support our existing businesses, respond to new opportunities and maintain the quality and service our customers expect.”
Wixon said the facility complements its main manufacturing headquarters and campus in St. Francis, Wis., further strengthening manufacturing in southeast Wisconsin.
