Eminem’s fans are threatening a boycott after Kid Rock revealed a Christian album with the “Real Slim Shady” rapper.
“Eminem is on Kid Rock’s new Christian album Halfway 2 Jesus. I’m so disappointed in Em. He obviously knows better, but he’d rather work with this MAGA nut!” one Reddit user declared Thursday.
The Eminem fan’s Reddit post comes two hours after Kid Rock announced his upcoming Christian album Halfway 2 Jesus , which features the “Lose Yourself” rapper on its track list.
Notably, Eminem appeared in Kid Rock’s 1998 rap-rock song “Fuck Off,” and Kid Rock also appeared in Eminem’s 2013 music video for the song “Berzerk.”

Still, Eminem fans are complaining now, citing Kid Rock’s support of President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement, as many on the left are quick to attack artists who deviate from the status quo or even seem to be associated with those who deviate from the status quo.
Another Reddit user complained in the comments section of the original post: “Wow, this is so disappointing.”
Interestingly, one Eminem fan seemed to suddenly take issue with the “Kim” rapper’s lyrics because he is allegedly “MAGA-adjacent,” writing: “The guy who made a song about fantasizing about murdering his ex-wife is MAGA-adjacent? Shocking. Absolutely shocking.”
Another fan suggested they delete Eminem’s songs after learning he collaborated with Kid Rock, asserting, “I can live without Eminem on my playlist.”
“Yep, just deleted Eminem’s last song from my playlist,” another chimed in. “I’m disappointed but not particularly surprised.”
“I’m never surprised when white people are conservative,” another commented, bizarrely suggesting that Eminem has now changed his political views simply because he is white and associates with people who disagree with him.
One Reddit user questioned whether the collaboration was real, writing, “That doesn’t sound right considering how anti-Trump/MAGA Em is,” before asking other Eminem fans if they were “sure” Kid Rock “wasn’t just using his name and some kind of sample or something.”
“Eminem has made it clear that he will remain friends with Kid Rock despite their political differences,” another Reddit user clarified in the comments section of another user’s post.
Eminem has long been an outspoken opponent of the president, posting an embarrassing video of himself freestyle rapping against Trump on social media in 2017, according to Breitbart News.

The “Till I Collapse” rapper has also endorsed former Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2024 presidential election.
But Eminem and Kid Rock — both of whom have strong ties to Detroit, Miss. — appear to remain friends despite their political differences.
In October 2024, Kid Rock said in a video, “I love Eminem. We’ve been friends for years. I don’t agree with his political views, but I do commend him and people like Taylor Swift for standing up and not being afraid to speak up for what they believe in.”
Eminem responded on X, declaring, “One thing @KidRock and I do agree on… Go @Lions!!!!”
“Thank you, Bob,” the “Stan” rapper added, referring to the rock kid’s real name, Robert James Rich.
